Hello and welcome to the Limitless Entrepreneur Podcast everyone. I’m your host, Nicole Laino. We are here with another one of our Monday episodes where we’re going to give you a little tidbit to take you off into the week, something to set you up for success for this week and on into the future past that.

I’m so excited to be here. I’m so excited to be talking about this topic because it is near and dear to my heart. It is something that I have been perfecting, crafting, practicing for more years than I can remember now. I don’t even know how many years I have been working with a morning routine. But one of the things that I really want to highlight with this episode is we’re going to tell you how you can do it by your design.

And I’m going to show you a little bit about how you crafting your morning routine is going to be possibly the most powerful thing that you do. One, because a morning routine is so important because it sets you up for the day. It’s where you decide how the day is going to go. You set it up.

You start out saying, I choose. This is how I start my day. Not the world gave me this, so I start reacting to it immediately. Then you’re in the world’s pocket. Then you are in the business of responding, which great for generators to be responding, but what if it’s things that set you off into a state of stress?

What if they’re not setting you up to be your most impactful, productive, centered, clear, highest self? That’s what the morning routine can do if you’re doing it right. And while we’re not looking at things through right and wrong. We’re always looking at it is it supportive to you? And we’re going to talk about some of the things that make it supportive or not supportive and why it may not be working for you.

If you’ve tried morning routine before or if maybe you feel like you have one, but you’re going through the motions and you’re not getting anything out of it. This is going to be about structuring a truly purposeful morning routine that is tailored to you, your design, the way that you are meant to operate. That feels supportive in every way and is supporting not just you as a person but supporting your goals and your expansion and your growth.

Yes, you can have a morning routine that is actually expanding you every single day. So, that’s what we’re going to be discussing in this episode. There are a couple little housekeeping things that I want to bring up here. A couple of really exciting things that we have going on inside Nicole Laino coaching, inside my group.

What we have going on right now, we have a contest running. So, if you love this show and you would like to have a mini HD reading or an HD coaching session, probably be a little bit of both live on this show. If you want to come on this show and have a HD session with me where we run through your chart and we talk about what matters to you and any of the things that I see jumping out in my chart that’ll help you get to the goal of your choice.

We’ll pull out some of the highlights that we see. You know, this will be very organic and that’s what’s so powerful about human design and that’s why it’s so important that you do have some sort of one-on-one component in anything that you’re doing with human design, because it can be very difficult to understand the stuff on your own.

And when you hear things, even on a podcast like this, or even in a program where they’re giving you a lot of information, understanding how it all works together with your goals, how things might be showing up for you. It’s why my group program is so heavily focused on the coaching element, not just on having a bunch of digital courses for you and a Q&A for you to ask questions, and in a Facebook group.

Which is not terribly supportive. There are two touchpoints per week where you can come in and be coached by me because that’s how people see rapid results. That’s how people get deep transformation that lasts and isn’t just this intellectual thing. So, I’m giving you the opportunity to win a slot on the show to have your own human design reading with me, and all you have to do to do it is go to iTunes, leave a review and tell everybody why you love this show, how much you love it, and what are your favorite things about it. Leave us a review and then take a screenshot of that review, post it to your Instagram stories and tag me. I’m at Nicole Laino official and that will be your entry. That’s all you have to do. Isn’t that so simple?

Who wouldn’t try to do that? So, if you’re already loving this show, it’s really just about putting it out there in black and white so that it can help us get the word out that this show is valuable and that other people should listen. Think about how you buy anything or how you make choices. You look at the reviews and you see if it’s working for other people.

So, if you could help us out by helping to get the word out about what you value about this show, and that might help somebody who’s thinking about listening. Connect with your message and connect with what’s speaking to you about this show. We appreciate your help with it, and we’re going to reward you with the opportunity to win a session on this show with me.

So that is something that’s coming up. We also have two free guides if you’re looking to dive further into your human design. We have two free guides. One is called the Human Design Deconditioning Guide, which is all about living in alignment and letting go of some of the key shadows that you might have, the not-self patterns as we call it.

We dive into that inside that guide, and then we also have a human design flow productivity guide, how to be productive without necessarily working more while working less. How you can achieve flow while being more productive. The deconditioning guide you can get it at nicolelaino.me/decondition. The productivity guide you can get or the flow-ductivity guide you can get at nicolelaino.me/productivity. We’ll link all of that up in the show notes. Everything will be linked up in the show notes for you, so don’t feel like you have to write that down, but I wanted to call those things out. We also are going to have a free masterclass coming up in March. That is a little bit away, but I want you all to flag that as coming down the pike, we’re actually going to show you, this is going to be geared toward, toward the business owners, toward the entrepreneurs who are looking how they can incorporate human design in their business to actually make more money. So that is really what this is about without actually having to work more hours.

So, it’s a bit of a combination of the two guides. We’re bringing that into very specific focus in this masterclass. so be on the lookout for that. We’re gonna have a little page up for you soon, but I wanted to call that out. So, without further ado, that’s all of our news. Now we’re going to dive into the content of this episode.

We’re going to talk about the morning routine by design. How can you craft your perfect morning routine? Not the perfect morning routine, but your perfect morning routine, one that is supportive to you, your goals, and your human design. So let me talk a little bit about my morning routine and how I have put it together and why all of the elements in it exist.

And I’m going to go from like the time I wake up in the morning because honestly there is this very focused morning routine portion where it’s like, okay, I go in, I come into this office because this is kind of my room in my house. I come into my office, I close the door and I have like that closed door time for myself.

That’s like meditation and all of that stuff. But it starts the moment I wake up, it starts the moment I wake up and the first moment I wake up, what I do is I make sure I have a positive thought and that could just be, and so it’s thinking about things like when I wake up and the first thought a lot of times sometimes, like, I don’t want to get up.

Oh, I’m so still so tired. I don’t want to get up. I’m so comfortable. I don’t want to get out. Instead of making that a negative, I make that a positive. Oh my God, how lucky I am I to have this amazingly comfortable bed and it’s so warm and it’s so cozy in here. How lucky am I to have this feeling right now?

And I sink into that. Then I take my earbuds and I put them in my ears and I lay there while I hit, usually this is the snooze portion, so I do build in time for a snooze. I hit the snooze button on my alarm. I pop in my earbuds and I listen to something that I call my ascension guide. And this is something I teach inside my program that is designed to give me an audio version of my vision and I listen to it and it’s sort of an affirmation type of thing.

There’s a specific way that we craft it, but I listen to that while I lay there during the snooze, and it doesn’t take the whole time, but this is what I do in that time. So, I’m prepping my brain, I’m priming it for the rest of the day. I’m getting myself into the energy of this is who I am, this is where I’m going.

Okay. And what this is doing, I have an open head and an open ajna. So, I need to remind myself things a lot. I need to remind myself things a lot cuz my mind is always changing. So, I remind myself, a big goal of my morning routine is, and with my defined G Center, is I have to remind myself, I always say like I’m reminding myself, who the fuck I am. And I am letting myself know. I’m putting myself on notice that this is who I am. I am not my limitations. I am not the things that went wrong yesterday. I am not the things that I am not good at. I am not the things I’m great at. Even I am the things that I choose right now. This is who I am. So, this is all like this inactive time.

How much time like do you snooze your alarm? Well, why don’t you use that time and lay there with good things being said in your ear? So, I do that. I have a specific way that I craft that ascension guide, and I teach my clients to do that inside the Limitless Entrepreneur program where we craft that vision, and this is something that I advise them to at least try on for their morning routine.

There’s ways that we work with this. Now, then I’m getting ready in the morning. Sometimes I listen to something, sometimes I don’t. Now, this is also that I’m a manifesting generator, like I am meant to respond to things. I respond. I’m always paying attention to how I feel. I’m paying attention to what I’m doing, like what am I responding to?

Sometimes I just think I really need some quiet. Again, open head center, open Ajna. I don’t need to consume all the time. Sometimes it’s supportive to me. Sometimes it feels great and sometimes it feels like I’m doing it because I feel like I don’t know enough. I can’t waste any time. And that’s, my open head and my open root that are pushing me that pressure.

So, this is how I use my design to decide and to discern and not just run on autopilot. Because that’s really what we’re doing with human design. It is a moment by moment reminder and embodiment of being the driver, being conscious of our unconscious patterns and knowing what those patterns are.

So just being more intentional. So, some days I listen to something, sometimes I don’t. Some days I just need space. I need the quiet right now while I get ready. And then I go into my room. Now this is where, again, manifesting generator I don’t necessarily, and I have a flowy routine, so part of my design, my variable, that’s the arrows, which if you haven’t listened to the arrows episode, go back and listen to that.

That was a couple of episodes ago. I can’t remember which one exactly. But that one I talked about how some of it can be about routine. My routine is much more open. The configuration of my variables is more supportive to me being more flowy with things and not so rigid, but I do have a defined ego, so I have the ability to stick with something, but I have to find some flow with it.

I have to find some variation in it. I can’t make it rigid, or it feels constricting and it starts to lock my body up. My nervous system gets locked up from too much. So, how do I do that? I play with my morning routine. I have options that I give myself, and I have ways that I tune into which options are best for me.

So, the first thing I do is I do kind of an energy clearing routine, which is sort of something that I do that that’s physical where I’m sort of clearing. It’s, very similar. One of my clients teaches Qigong and when I showed her this, she was like, oh, it actually reminds me a lot of Qigong. So, it’s energetic practice like that, it’s physical.

I do that, that takes about two minutes. I’m going to tell you how long all of this stuff takes because it’s going to sound like a lot. They get done very quickly. So, I go and I close the door. I take about three minutes to do that energy clearing routine. Then I’m checking in with what I need and I’m looking at the tools that I have, because the goal with my morning routine is to be energetically clear to ground myself, because I hold space for people a lot of days, and I hold a lot of space and I have to be present for my clients, and I have to be present for myself when I’m not meeting with clients, and I can only do that if I am a open and clear vessel. I can’t walk into the day with funky energy. It’s my job in the morning to clear that energy and so I’m not walking in with emotions that are too much, and I’m checking in. I’m an emotional authority. Where am I in my emotional wave? Do I feel like I am in a funky place in my wave? And I have ways that, and part of this morning routine helps me discern that where I’m at. So, if I’m feeling very emotional and I’m feeling like there’s something wrong, I’m worrying about something, I’m fretting about something. Something didn’t go right the day before. Because lots of things go wrong. Lots of things go wrong, but I don’t want to take that energy in with me because then the energy of the thing going wrong, I’m bringing into the new day and I’m inviting more of it and it’s my job to control my frequency and my energetic vibration. so, I’m vibrating with my goals are not only possible they’re going to happen. I’m not in alignment with that old stuff. And I’ve cleared out so much and I’ve done so much of the back work of clearing the energetic blocks and stuck energy that I’m able to shift this in a few minutes.

Now for you, this may take you longer. You might have to go through that process of excavating and clearing out all of the old energy that’s there, the energy and emotions that are there. But what I do is I check in with where I’m at. If I’m worrying about something, then I will tap. I will do tapping and do EFT.

I’m an EFT practitioner and EFT, for those of you who are not familiar, but EFT is both a cognitive and somatic practice, so it helps to clear your thoughts. So, it’s working on your brain, but it’s also somatic because it’s working on releasing from the body. So, we’re releasing the emotion and energy from the body as well as from the mind and I love that connection. So, if I’m worried about something, if I’m thinking about something, I want to make sure I’m taking care of that thought. I want to make sure that I’m actually working out that thought and I’m tapping on it. And I’m also in a therapeutic way, not in a venting way, but tapping allows me to move the emotion associated with the thought, the worry, the guilt, the shame, whatever it is that I’m feeling and move it out of my system.

So, if I’m feeling something I’ll tap. There’s always something somatic in my practice. And I do it first because I want whatever is in the body to move. Because we have our brain, we have our thoughts, and we have our body that holds onto positive and negative things. And I want it to be clear.

So, first I do somatics, so I either tap if it’s something that needs to be thought through and worked out or if it feels circumstantial, I’m definitely tapping. And then I will do breath work. So, tapping now that I’ve done it for so long and I’m in such a good place, tapping takes me maybe three or four minutes, unless it’s a really big problem, three or four minutes.

And then I do breath work. Now if I’ve tapped, I might do a shorter breath work or if I didn’t tap, I might do a longer breath work session. This is up to me. I decide in the moment what I feel like doing and my breath work. That is the full somatic experience of moving the breath, clearing my mind.

I might do a little bit of visioning while I do breath work. if I have a problem that I’m kind of trying to figure out, I will ask the question while I’m in breath work and breath work, I will do anywhere from a 10 minute to 20 minute session. Depending on how I’m feeling. So that’s how I clear the body. So, now I’m about anywhere from 15 minutes to 25 minutes, depending on all the things that I’ve done, depending on how long my breath work session is and whether I tapped or not. Now I need to clear my mind. I want to create space in my mind. So, I will do a meditation.

And meditation is clearing my mind. I do transcendental meditation, which is traditionally a 20 minute practice. You don’t have to do that, but I do recommend having leaving at least five minutes to create space in your mind and allow whatever thoughts are there to come and go, let your brain do what it needs to do.

Now, if you are someone like me where I have a passive brain, which that’s again in the variables. that’s really essential to me in my day, is to allow my brain to do what it needs to do, to not put it in an active state, to allow it to be passive. So, I do do the 20 minutes. I do allow that time and I leave myself a good amount of time because I’m worth it.

I wake up earlier than my family to give myself this time because you know what? I deserve it and so does my business and so do my clients. I can wake up early for that. Then after my meditation, I set an intention for the day. This is a really simple thing. I’m grounding myself. I am connecting to something bigger.

I remind myself that I’m not alone in this, that I have universal support, this is a big one for me. I ask for help and I connect to something bigger and I set an intention and then I’ll have a vision of how my day is going to go and I do a visualization process, which only takes me three minutes. This is something that we teach inside the Limitless Entrepreneur as well.

This is just a way that I will connect to co-creating the day. Co-creating my experience, and this has been this routine. I do this, sometimes I mix up the order. Sometimes I mess with how I do this. Sometimes I do something a bit different. I have options to keep things interesting, to keep me engaged with it and to keep it fresh.

So, this is all, this is a huge part of my process. I do some version of this every day and the whole thing, the whole shebang takes me, I’m in my office about 40 minutes or so, unless I’m feeling very luxurious and I’m like, I’m going to go a whole hour. That would be a very, very long session for me.

Normally I’m in here 30 to 40 minutes and if you can’t devote 30 to 40 minutes to your business to something that will truly nothing has helped me grow more than setting myself up for the day and having a true, intentional process for creating the day, the week, the month, the year that I want, like a morning, like the morning routine.

Nothing has set me up like this has. So, I highly suggest that you take some of what I shared in this episode and start to make it your own. If you’re interested in more of it, if you are like, I need this type of work in my life and to understand how my design works, how I work, how I function, not only more productively, but in a way that just feels good and creates space in my life, not just more work.

If you’re looking for ways to tune into your unique gifts and start to be able to set intentions that are truly in alignment for you so that you can start to restructure your business in a way that supports you and creates the income and impact that you’re looking for. Then I’d love to talk to you about the Limitless Entrepreneur Program.

You should check it out. Send me a DM on Instagram if you’re interested in hearing more about it. Or you can check it out on our website. You can get to it there. If you go to nicolaino.me/enroll, you can see some of the information that we have there for you. But it’s better to talk to me about it because we could talk about your goals and how that will work together.

It’s a very tailored program because there is so much one-on-one time. There are group coaching calls, but you get coached one-on-one by me in every single call if you choose to show up and raise your hand. We do all sorts of really wonderful things in there. It’s a really supportive community and it’s the most cost effective way to almost work one-on-one with me, which is significantly more expensive. So, it’s the best way. We have a six month and a 12-month program, so we’d love to talk to you about that. Please let us know what you think of your morning routine, what you thought of this episode.

Share it in your stories. Remember that contest. If you’d like to be entered into winning an HD session with me on the show, just leave a review, take a screenshot, tag me in the screenshot, and you’re in. We’ll let you know if you won. So, everybody remember, you’re only limited by the limitations that you accept.

And when you stop accepting those limitations, that is when you become limitless. So go out there, be limitless, my friends, and I will see you in the next episode. Bye.
